Steel building kits

Steel buildings that go up in hours, not weeks

Pre-cut, numbered steel pieces that click together with a drill and a hammer. Our standard, smaller kits are up in less than half a day.

Why steel

Strong, simple, and made to go together

How it works

Three simple steps

  1. 1

    We send your kit

Your kit arrives with every piece cut to size, marked, and numbered, so you know where each one goes.

  2. 2

    Click it together

Pieces click into place. All you need is a power drill and a hammer.

  3. 3

Done in under half a day

Our standard, smaller kits go up in less than half a day. Prefer not to build it? We can build it for you.

Time shown is for our standard, smaller kits. Bigger buildings take longer, so call us for yours.

A closer look

What a steel building kit looks like

  • Galvanized steel frame with floor joists and wall studs, sitting on a base inside a workshop with more steel frames in the background
A finished floor and wall frame, shaped from steel and built to fit together.
  • A galvanized steel frame section lying on a table with part labels printed on the steel and a paper plan beside it, while a worker in a hard hat and safety vest looks on
Every piece is marked, so each one has a place.

Questions

Steel kit questions, answered simply

How hard is it to put together?

It is made to be easy. The pieces are pre-cut, marked, and numbered, and the steel is cut so each piece only fits the right way. You click the pieces into place, a bit like building with Legos.

How long does it take?

Our standard, smaller kits go up in less than half a day. For bigger buildings, call us and we will tell you what to expect.

What tools do I need?

A power drill and a hammer. That is the whole list.

Are the pieces heavy?

No. The pieces are light enough that one person can pick them up by hand.

Will it rust, burn, or get damaged by water?

Steel is resistant to fire, moisture, termites, and mold, and it needs very little upkeep. We say resistant instead of proof because no building is ever completely proof against everything, but steel is a tough material for the job.

Can you build it for me? What about electrical and plumbing?

Yes. If you do not want to build it yourself, we can build it for you. If you do not have a plumber or an electrician, we can set you up with one as an optional add-on. Call us for details.

What sizes are there, what does it cost, and how soon can I get one?

Call us and we will walk you through it.

Local building rules and permits are different from place to place. Call us and we will help you figure out what you need.
